What To Expect At When You Sign Up For Our Classes
Our Infant Massage classes offer a safe and comfortable learning environment where you and baby can discover how to bond with each other. We understand that babies cry and need attention or sometimes they just do not want to be massaged, so we have designed our classes to make sure you don’t miss out if you have to attend to your baby, or yourself.
How Long Are The Classes?
Our classes are run as 2 sessions lasting 1.5 hours each and they are run over 2 consecutive weeks.
What’s Included?
The full massage experience includes, the full infant massage course, a complimentary bottle of organic massage oil, a laminated instruction sheet with all strokes and sequences, articles on the benefits of massage and a lovely morning tea at the completion of the course where you can enjoy sharing your stories with other parents.
What Will You Be Learning?
Over the 2 sessions you will discover the full range of easy to follow massage techniques we use to soothe upset or troubled babies.
Learn how we start with the permission sequence and why it is an important aspect of the massage routine to achieve a successful bond with your baby. We will show you which oils to use and when the best times are to massage your baby and for how long.
We will also show you how to adapt your massage routines and strokes so they remain effective as your baby grows.
What To Bring To The Class
- You and your little one (demonstration dolls will be used if your baby does not want a massage)
- A towel or blanket for your baby to lay on
- Any additional things that he/she may need
- Wear comfortable clothing (as we will be on the floor)
